Four-day workshop on effective laws and regulations in the field of labour safety and examination of requirements of new environmental code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Almaty.
15 people took part in the training, including employees of the Headquarters, Southern, Western and Northern Directorates, and Directorate of Infrastructural Projects.
Health protection and occupational safety are central to the company. Any open disregard of rules on the part of management and personnel can result in injuries or cost employee’s life. Aim of the workshop turned not only upgrading of theoretical knowledge, but also development of skills on prevention of accidents associated with labour. It is important that in the course of training, employees of the Headquarters and branches exchanged experience, discussed common issues and aims on labour protection and environmental safety in our operation, - Deputy General Director Saken Rakhmetov noted.
Instructors of KazExpertPromBezopasnost Educational Center were engaged for conducting of training. Upon completion of the workshop, Work Plan and aims on OHS for 2022 were considered, and necessity of a set of remedial actions on accidents prevention, including preventive control at workplaces for prevention of injuries and occupational diseases. Awareness-raising activities will be conducted in operating sites as well, because the result depends on understanding and participation of the employees themselves.
