Today the first in 2023 track possession was held on a line of the Southern Directorate.
Track workers renewed 1.2 km of track panel in 6 hours on Korkol – Passing loop 464 section for Atyrau operating division. On that section, overhaul of 31.05 km of track is planned.

It should be noted that annual track overhaul is aimed at rehabilitation of Kazakhstan railways, as well as increasing the level of comfort for passengers and freight transportation on a smooth track.
