The mosque construction site is located on a natural hill, which makes it one of the most prominent points of Zhezkazgan.
The balconies and the second floor of the building offer panoramic views of the Kangir reservoir and urban development. The project concept provides for the creation of not only a religious building, but also a full-fledged spiritual and cultural center.
The mosque's capacity is designed for 3,000 people. The total area of the building will be 3,779 square meters, and the landscaping area will be about 2 hectares. The project provides for the main building of the mosque and two minarets, each of which will reach 46 meters in height.
"During construction and installation work, special attention is paid to the quality of the materials used. The project uses premium segment materials, which will ensure reliable operation and minimize the cost of further maintenance of the facility," said Baktiyar Medeubayev, Executive Director of the Integra branch in Zhezkazgan.
He also added that the monolithic works are completed, the installation of metal structures begun, and preparations are underway for finishing work. Currently, the stage of internal engineering communications is to be completed. The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. The customer of the project is the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan with the sponsorship of JSC Kazakhmys Corporation.
