Construction of Moiynty – Kyzylzhar Railway line continues as planned

Integra continues to implement a major infrastructure project for the construction of the Moiynty-Kyzylzhar railway line.

The total length of the branch line will be 323 kilometers, it passes through the Karaganda and Ulytau regions. In the coming months, it is planned to complete the main work on the construction of the roadbed and the installation of culverts, after which the builders will reach the final pace of laying the track.

At the moment 62,5 kilometers of rail-sleeper grating are laid, 49,8 kilometers in Moiynty station region and 12,6 from Kyzylzhar station.

“At the beginning of this project we faced with a plenty of difficulties. Among them are the difficult terrain, the harsh climatic conditions of Central Kazakhstan, and the need to establish clear logistics for the supply of construction materials to remote sites. Despite the climate and logistical difficulties Integra team successfully handles assigned tasks” highlighted Timur Zhanuzakov project manager of Moiynty-Kyzylzhar.

The Moiynty-Kyzylzhar railway line has significant strategic importance. It will become part of the transit corridor between China and the Caspian region, reducing the distance of cargo transportation by 149 kilometers and reducing logistical costs.
