The second track column of the Northern Directorate began work on the Vasilkovka section (including the first main track) for the Akmola branch of the road, where 40 kilometers of the track are to be updated.
🔧On June 25, a 72-hour technological "window" started on the section, during which 2.21 km of station tracks were laid.
Meanwhile, the second track column of the Western Directorate began work on the Karaketken - Karaiirim section. There it is necessary to improve 5.6 kilometers of track for the Kyzylorda branch of the road.
On June 25, in 6 hours of the technological "window," 1 km of track was updated with the laying of a geomat coated with geotextile and an extruded geogrid to stabilize the soil.
The work is being carried out as part of the overhaul of Kazakhstan's railways in accordance with the schedule, a high level of coordination and quality control at all stages.
The project is aimed at modernizing the country's railway infrastructure.
