Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, as part of a working trip to North Kazakhstan region, got acquainted with the initial results of work to eliminate the consequences of floods and provide housing for residents affected by floods.
The pace of construction and the quality of rented housing, as well as the issue of supporting residents in the post-flood period, were discussed.
“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev keeps the issue of restoring housing to all flood victims under special control. North Kazakhstan region was one of the first to complete the construction of houses for residents of the flooded microdistricts of the city. Settling all victims in houses before the onset of the cold season is our priority,” Olzhas Bektenov emphasized and instructed the akimat to improve the adjacent territory.
In total, 700 houses and a kindergarten for 90 children are built in Birlik microdistrict (Petropavlovsk). The day before, the keys to 53 houses were handed over to families for settlement. By the end of June, it is planned to issue another 47 houses, the construction of 600 houses will be completed by the end of August this year.
Special attention was paid to the quality and manufacturability of the prefabricated panel houses being built. Currently, the foundation has been poured in more than 100 areas, the assembly of structures has begun, and work is underway to connect water supply.
It should be noted that the construction of 400 houses is carried out by LLP “Integra Construction KZ”.
