At Zhetigen Station, scheduled technological “windows” were carried out to switch train traffic to a new railway track.
The works were performed by Integra as part of the project to construct a railway bypass line around Almaty Station.
Two technological “windows,” each lasting eight hours, were planned for the execution of the works. The first window took place on January 17, and the second on January 19.
During this period, the company’s specialists switched turnouts No. 24 and No. 22 from the existing track to the new one.
As a result of the completed technological windows, train traffic was organized along the new track.
