Integra Construction continues large-scale construction on Darbaza - Maktaaral railway line. The total length of the line is 132,5 kilometers.
The section from Erdauyt to Maktaaral and the State Border with the Republic of Uzbekistan (Syrdarya) has a total operational length of 132.5 kilometers. Of this, 119.8 kilometers account for the main construction length, and 12.7 kilometers cover the stretch from Maktaaral to the state border.
Active track-laying began on May 30: 11.07 kilometers of railway have been constructed at the Erdauyt station, and an additional 8.4 kilometers on the Erdauyt – Passing Loop No. 2 segment. A total of 26 sets of switch turnouts have also been installed. The current readiness of the rail-sleeper grid is 110.7 kilometers. The project includes the construction of 37 bridges along the entire route.
Yerlangazy Dauletyarov, head of Darbaza-Maktaaral project, spoke about the progress of work and the difficulties that arose. According to him, when laying the route, specialists faced difficult engineering and geological conditions. Heterogeneous soils and high groundwater levels have been identified in some areas. In addition, it was necessary to take into account the intersection of existing communications and transport infrastructure. Climatic features of the region also play a role.
During construction, mechanized methods of earthworks are used, as well as technologies for strengthening and stabilizing the soil. All work is carried out strictly in accordance with the design and estimate documentation.
Around 550 specialists, from laborers to engineering and technical personnel, are involved on site daily. In construction, about 400 units of specialized equipment are used, the number of which varies depending on the stage of work.
Delivery of construction materials is organized according to the approved schedule. All components come from certified suppliers, and the quality of work is under constant control.
The company's management pays special attention to security issues. At all stages of construction, the requirements of labor protection, industrial and fire safety are observed. Mandatory briefings are held, and compliance with all standards is constantly monitored.
The project is being implemented by the Directorate for the construction of Darbaza - State Border with Uzbekistan railway line. The Western Directorate branch is responsible for the upper structure of the track. It is planned to complete construction in December 2026. The line will pass through the territory of five districts and will become a transport corridor connecting Kazakhstan with Uzbekistan.
