The complex, built according to modern standards, creates conditions for classes throughout the year in such sports disciplines as short track, figure skating and hockey.
The facility is equipped with equipment from Italy, Canada, Germany, and Finland. Special technology allows to change the shape of the site. Therefore, it enables to practice several sports at the rink at the same time.
During the visit to the ice palace, the President was shown the skills of young pupils, then a meeting with athletes and coaches took place.
The President noted that he always supports domestic athletes, monitors their achievements, and wished them good luck.
Hockey players of the local Turan Tigers club presented the Head of State with a team uniform.
In accordance with the Comprehensive Plan of Socio-economic Development of the region for 2021-2025, “Turkestan Arena” stadium, ”Olympic Center” multifunctional sports complex, Bekzat Sattarkhanov sports complex, “Turan” Football Academy, 7 outdoor tennis courts and a 51-kilometer bike path were built in the regional center.
