On the threshold of the Independence Day, final track possession in 2021 on section of Construction of the 2nd track on Passing loop 19 – Dostyk open line and three receiving and departure tracks on passing loop 19 was carried out with closure of traffic on single-track open line of Dostyk – passing loop 19
Within 12 hours of work, 1800 m3 of fouled ballast was cut and loaded on dump trucks and transported into a disposal area to a distance up to 20 km, 400 m of track slope was graded.
By readiness of subgrade, workers of the Branch of NC KTZh JSC – “Akadyr mechanized track maintenance section” carried out works on switching of direction change of the 2nd track under design.
Upon completion of the track possession, double-track open line is opened timely for train operation without overtime. Project is implemented under Nyrly Zhol state program of infrastructure development for 2020-2025. Track works will continue next year.
